Mr. Jesse Gatz entered The Arcade as an ordinary middle school teacher, hopelessly ill-equipped for survival. An encounter with a time-traveling phase spider erased his body (or transported it elsewhere), leaving only a ghostly image of himself, burned into the fabric of space.

Jesse has abandoned his quest to escape the alleyspace, choosing instead to live, even if his "life" is spent locked in The Arcade. Today, he goes by "jGatzB," and together with Super64, operates The Arcade's only TV station--a rogue signal called Bro-Op!
